Actitudes e intenciones del consumo de marihuana en el sur México

Resumen

La presente investigación de tipo descriptivo-correlacional tiene el objetivo de conocer
la relación y efecto que muestran las actitudes e intenciones en el consumo de marihuana en
jóvenes universitarios del sur de México. La muestra está compuesta por 465 jóvenes
seleccionados de forma aleatoria. Los instrumentos aplicados son cédula de consumo e
intenciones para el consumo de marihuana y el instrumento Actitudes para el Consumo de
Marihuana (Olivera & Carrero, 2007), posterior se analizaron los datos mediante estadística
descriptiva e inferencial. El 60.8% de los jóvenes que han consumido marihuana refieren tener
intenciones de consumir nuevamente, también se identificaron actitudes positivas para el
consumo de marihuana en la relajación y creatividad. Existe una relación positiva y
significativa de las actitudes positivas con las intenciones para el consumo de marihuana. Las
actitudes e intenciones muestran un efecto positivo sobre el consumo de marihuana.

Abstract

The present descriptive-correlational type research has the objective of knowing the
relationship and effect that the attitudes and intentions show in the consumption of marijuana
in young university students from southern Mexico. The sample is made up of 465 young
people selected at random. The instruments applied are the consumption inquiry and intentions
for the consumption of marijuana and the instrument Attitudes for the Consumption of
Marijuana (Olivera & Carrero, 2007), later the data was analyzed using descriptive and
inferential statistics. The 60.8% of young people who have used marijuana report having
intentions to use again, positive attitudes were also identified for marijuana use in relaxation
and creativity.

There is a positive and significant relationship between positive attitudes and intentions
for marijuana use. Attitudes and intentions has a positive effect on marijuana use.
