ESTUDIO CORRELACIONAL DE FELICIDAD, AUTOESTIMA Y MOTIVACIÓN

Resumen

El estudio de la felicidad tiene unas hondas raíces dentro de la cultura occidental, sin embargo, a partir del surgimiento de la psicología positiva ha adquirido una nueva faceta epistemológica y científica que asocian a la felicidad con otras variables como la autoestima y motivación. El objetivo de la presente investigación es evaluar la relación entre felicidad, autoestima y motivación. Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, transversal y correlacional con una muestra de 77 estudiantes. A través de correlación de Pearson y Modelación de Ecuaciones Estructurales se encontró que dichas variables se asocian de manera significativa y positiva.

Abstract

The study of happiness has deep roots in western culture, however, from the emergence of positive psychology has acquired a new epistemological and scientific facet what associate happiness with other variables such as self-esteem and motivation. The aim of this research is to evaluate the relationship between happiness, self-esteem and motivation. A quantitative, transversal and correlational study was made with a sample of 77 students. We found through correlation of Pearson and Structural Equations Modeling that these variables are associated by significant and positive way.
