ESTILOS DE HUMOR SEGÚN GÉNERO, EDAD Y TIPO DE INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA EN ADOLESCENTES

Resumen

Se realizó un estudio de campo de corte transversal de los estilos de humor según género, edad y tipo  de institución en adolescentes de 14 a 18 años, de instituciones educativas  públicas y privadas; en una muestra de 277 estudiantes. Se aplicó Cuestionario de Estilos de Humor (CUESTIHU) de D’anello (2008). Los datos se estudiaron con un análisis de varianza multivariado. Los resultados mostraron el predominio de los estilos adaptativos de humor. El género, arrojó que se relaciona  significativamente, con el humor agresivo,  los varones  superan a las hembras en su expresión. La edad independientemente no reflejó resultados significativos.  El tipo de institución mostró una relación con el humor afiliativo con magnitud media y mayor prevalencia en instituciones privadas. La interacción de la edad con la institución arrojó resultados significativos sobre el humor agresivo. Los datos aportados podrían ser útiles en planes de prevención primaria. 

Abstract

A field study of cross-section of the humor styles by gender, age and type of institution in adolescents 14 to 18 years of public and private educational institutions was conducted; in a sample of 277 students. Humor Styles Questionnaire was applied (CUESTIHU) D' Anello (2008).  The data were studied with multivariate analysis of variance, where the interaction between the variables was determined. The results showed the prevalence adaptive styles of humor. Gender, showed that relates significantly in the expression of aggressive humor, males outnumber females in his expression. Age did not reflect significant results regardless. The type of institution showed a relationship with the affiliative humor with an average magnitude and more prevalent in private institutions. The interaction of age with the institution showed significant results on aggressive humor. The information provided may be helpful in primary prevention plans.
