El Paraguay y el Sentido de la Vida, en la Post Guerra de la Triple Alianza

El presente artículo teórico tiene por objetivo hacer un paralelo entre el casi exterminio del pueblo paraguayo en la guerra de la Triple Alianza y la de los judíos en los campos de concentración, desde la visión del fundador de la Logoterapia, considerada la tercera escuela vienesa de psicoterapia, del Dr. Viktor E. Frankl (1996), quien a partir de su propia experiencia en Auschwitz afirmó: “El hombre puede conservar un reducto de libertad espiritual, de independencia mental, incluso en aquellos crueles estados de tensión psíquica y de indigencia física”. (p. 37)

La autora reflexiona además, sobre la cultura y el carácter de los paraguayos de hoy, a quienes, de acuerdo a los distintos autores consultados, se los describen muy distintos al carácter de coraje, la actitud de lucha por su libertad física y de la independencia mental que tuvieron que desarrollar aquellos para sobrevivir y reconstruir el Paraguay de la post guerra. 

The present article has the intention of doing the parallel between almost extermination of the Paraguayan people in the war of the Triple Alliance and that of the Jews in the concentration camps, from the vision of Dr. Viktor E. Frankl (1996) the founder of the psychotherapeutic school, the Logotherapy, often called the "Third Viennese School" (after Freud's psychoanalysis and Adler's individual psychology). Dr. Frankl from his own experience in Auschwitz affirmed that “The man can preserve a redoubt, enclosed of spiritual freedom, of mental independence in those cruel conditions of psychic tension and of physical poverty ". (p.37)

The author thinks in addition, on the culture and the character of the today Paraguayans, to whom, of agree to the different consulted authors, they are described very different from the character of courage, the attitude of fight by his physical freedom and of the mental independence that those had to develop to survive and to reconstruct the Paraguay of the post war.
