Propiedades Psicométricas de la Escala Capital Psicológico en Agentes de Seguridad de la Ciudad de Lima

Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar las propiedades psicométricas de la escala
CAPPSI en agentes de seguridad de tres hospitales de la ciudad de Lima. La muestra estuvo
conformada por 381 participantes con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y 50 años
(M edad =32,02; DE edad =8,67). Esta investigación verificó mediante el análisis factorial
confirmatorio la estructura interna del constructo a través de tres modelos. Los resultados
indicaron una estructura factorial similar a la conceptualización teórica, sin embargo, la
recomendación empírica consistió en proponer y verificar más modelos con la finalidad de
contrastar el arreglo que tenga mejor ajuste a la teoría. De los cuales el modelo oblicuo de
cuatro factores estaría representando más coherentemente a la estructura teórica. Además, la
fiabilidad del constructo y de las puntuaciones estuvieron por encima de lo aceptable. Se
concluye que el CAPPSI es un instrumento que se puede utilizar para fines de investigación y
descripción de grupos.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the
CAPPSI scale in security agents of three hospitals in the city of Lima. The sample consisted of
381 participants between the ages of 18 and 50 years (Mage = 32,02; DEage = 8.67). This
research verified by means of confirmatory factor analysis the internal structure of the construct
through three models. The results indicated a factorial structure similar to the theoretical
conceptualization, however, the empirical recommendation consisted of proposing and
verifying more models in order to verify the arrangement that best fits the theory. Of which the
oblique model of four factors would be represented more coherently to the theoretical structure.
In addition, the reliability of the construct and the scores were above acceptable. It is concluded
that the CAPPSI is an instrument that can be used for research and group description purposes.
