EVALUACIÓN DE LAS PROPIEDADES PSICOMÉTRICAS DE LA ESCALA DE CAPACIDAD DE LOGRO (ECL)

Resumen
El objetivo del presente artículo es evaluar las propiedades psicométricas de una escala que mide capacidad de logro. Participaron 467 alumnos de la Licenciatura de Psicología a distancia. La escala contó con 60 ítems, 50 para evaluar capacidad de logro y 10 para competencias teórico-prácticas. Después de los análisis de confiabilidad, la Escala de Capacidad de Logro quedó constituida por 58 ítems, con un Alpha de Cronbach de .927. Al realizar un análisis factorial se identifican cuatro dimensiones en la Escala de Capacidad de Logro. Con base en los resultados se puede afirmar que el instrumento es válido y confiable.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the psychometric properties of a scale developed to measure the achievement ability. 467 students in distance learning participated; the range of ages is 18-62 years old with a mean of 41 years old, which 76% are females and 24% males. The instrument has 60 items, 50 to evaluate achievement ability and 10 for theoretical and practical skills. After reliability analysis, the Achievement Ability Scale with 58items scored an alpha of .927. When performing a factor analysis, were identified four dimensions in the Achievement Ability Scale. Based on the results we can say the instrument is valid and reliable.
