CONCEPTOS BÁSICOS DE PSICOTERAPIA GESTALT

Resumen

En la presente investigación se revisan los conceptos de Psicoterapia Gestalt relacionados con el trabajo psicoterapéutico. La persona se considera como un todo integrado, el cual en ocasiones se divide para estudiar algún aspecto particular teniendo presente que es necesario entenderla como un sistema complejo que busca la homeostasis. Se trabaja el concepto de “Aquí y Ahora, el momento en el cual el sujeto vive. Más adelante, se trabaja con el proceso de “Darse cuenta” a través del cual el sujeto conoce y establece relación entre su interior y exterior, identificando sus necesidades y deseos, así como los elementos para satisfacerlo. Por último, se presenta la evolución y avance que ha tenido el concepto de Ciclo de la Experiencia, identificando, por una parte, los diversos nombres que ha presentado a través del tiempo y por otra, los bloqueos o limitaciones que impide que la persona satisfaga su necesidad.

Abstract

First of all, this investigation reviews the concepts of Gestalt Psychotherapy related with the psychotherapeutic work. The person is considered as an integrated whole, which sometimes is divided to study any particular aspect, bearing in mind that it is necessary to set it always as a complex system that seeks for homeostasis.

We are working the concept “Here and now” the moment in which the person lives. Then, we will work with the process of “Awareness”, through which the person knows and establish a relationship between his inner and outer, identifying his needs and desires, as well as the elements to satisfy him self. Finally, it outlines the evolution and progress that has had the concept of Experiential Cycle identifying, on the one hand, the various names that has been submitted through the time and on the other hand, the locks and limitations that prevent the person from satisfying his need.
