WALTER BLUMENFELD: VIDA Y OBRA DE UN PIONERO EN EL DESARROLLO DE LA PSICOLOGÍA CIENTÍFICA EN EL PERÚ

El trabajo examina las primeras contribuciones y los principales hallazgos en el abordaje científico del estudio psicológico de los peruanos, del Dr. Walter Blumenfeld (1882–1967), una de las figuras más notables en la historia de la psicología peruana. Formado académicamente en su natal Alemania es dueño de una orientación objetiva en el estudio de los fenómenos psicológicos. Se concluye que la vida de Walter Blumenfeld ha estado dedicada por completo a la investigación científica, sus contribuciones, de fina y metódica rigurosidad en el análisis estadístico, lo llevan a ser considerado como el iniciador de la psicología científico-experimental y principal difusor de la gestalt o psicología de la forma en el Perú.
Abstract
The work examines the first contributions and the principal findings in the scientific boarding of the psychological study of Peruvians, of the Dr. Walter Blumenfeld (1882-1967), one of the most notable figures in the history of the Peruvian psychology. Formed academic in his natal Germany, he is the owner of an objective orientation in the study of the psychological phenomena. It is concludes that Walter Blumenfeld life has been dedicated completely to the scientific investigation, his contributions, of thin and methodical rigor in the statistical analysis, it leads to being considered the initiator of the scientific - experimental psychology and principal diffuser of the gestalt or psychology of the form in Peru.
